Church Newsletter Excerpts for October 2008 Local School Supply Collection
The Outreach Committee is collecting school supplies for students in need,
mid-year, at the Mexico Middle School. If you can contribute,
what they need most is: blue and black ink pens, colored
pencils, #2 pencils, “Expo” dry erase markers, five tab dividers, and above
all, binders: 1”, 1 1/2”, and 2” sizes.

Pedals, Pipes, and Pizza--Third Time's the Charm Sunday School in October
Following are the dates and focus areas for Sunday School during the month of
October:
October 5: The children will attend the full worship service. They will
perform a song for the
congregation and also have the opportunity to partake in Holy Communion. The
children may either sit with up front with their teachers or with their
parents.
October 12: The children will focus on the Bible story of Moses.
October 19: The children will learn about our church involvement in Operation
Christmas
Child Shoebox Ministry. They will be making up shoeboxes for children in need.
October 26. The children will further study the Bible story of Moses.
